Iβve dined all over the world and my dinner at Paseo Grill last night ranked as one of my most memorable ever. Fantastic service by Lauren with great food and atmosphere at a price that was very pleasant! Will definitely stop here again my next time in Oklahoma City!
Overview
One dish that keeps coming up in reviews is the filet, cooked exactly to order and finished with a rich reduction that doesnβt overpower the beef. I ordered it medium-rare, and it arrived with a warm center and a clean sear, proof of solid temperature control and timing. These are basic culinary processes, but theyβre also the ones many kitchens rush. The consistency here reminds me of techniques taught by chefs recognized by organizations like the James Beard Foundation, where mastering fundamentals is non-negotiable.
Seafood fans arenβt an afterthought. The salmon, for example, is often pan-seared to keep the skin crisp while the flesh stays moist, a method backed by culinary research that shows high-heat searing helps retain natural oils and flavor. Pair that with seasonal vegetables, and you get a plate that feels intentional rather than decorative. A regular at the next table told me they order it almost every week because itβs reliable and never heavy.
There are limits worth noting. The menu doesnβt chase trends, so diners looking for experimental or plant-forward tasting menus might feel constrained. That said, the kitchen is usually accommodating with modifications, and servers are upfront about what can or canβt be adjusted. That honesty builds credibility.

The restaurant is nice and quiet. The decor is creative yet simple. Food was amazing. Drinks were great. Service was wonderful. Bread pudding was warm and sweet.
This is one of our favorite places to go for special occasions. Their food and service is always on point and we have not been disappointed once. Their lobster bisque is the best that we've tried! Their service are always understanding of our needs and makes sure to accommodate us as best as can be. We always enjoyed the complementary desserts that we get on special holidays!
We came down from Iowa to a Sooners game and chose this place due to price point, reviews, and fine dining feel. Abby was our server and went above and beyond in her recommendations and explained the cooking process in such depth that we felt comfortable going outside our comfort zone. We ordered an off menu appetizer that will be a full time item soon. If youβre hesitant on ordering the wagyu tips on French bread, donβt. I promise itβll be the best thing that has ever hit your tastebuds. My husband ordered the Duck dish, I ordered the Fillet, and we shared the Cream of Mushroom soup (to die for) and stuffed Shrimp. We were so pleased with our experience weβve already slotted this place on for our next visit.
Food was fantastic. I gave it 5 stars even though it was cooked 100% great, but it was still good. I only gave 4 stars for service due to it lacking a little. Overall I'd still recommend eating here, its a good place with good food.
We loved our meal at this place! We went for our anniversary and the atmosphere and food was just perfect. There were plenty of great menu items plus they had three specialty menu options as well. We started with an appetizer of spinach artichoke dip and it was the best Iβve ever tasted. We both went with the Waygu Filets (a special option) and loved it!! For dessert we grabbed a βstrawberry shortcakeβ with lemon pound cake - it was delicious!! There is an extensive drink menu with plenty of wine, beer, and cocktail options. The dessert menu had about 8 or 10 options plus special off-menu options. Overall, we enjoyed our experience from start to finish. The wait staff was extremely helpful and created a charming and intimate environment.
Loved the vibe. I love the floor to ceiling textiles (kind of boho-ish) separating each table. It was very comfortable yet roomy at the same time. The staff was all very accommodating & friendly. We all loved our food. I ordered a bowl of the mushroom soup & the fresco chicken pasta. I ate a little of each then i requested the soup to be poured on top of my pasta in my to-go container. I ate the leftovers the next day for 2 different meals. It was still so good. The only draw back is lunch items like the burgers are not available at dinner. Still 5 stars though.
Wonderful choice! We went for my wife and Iβs collective 30th birthday dinner, and it was truly delicious. Multiple recommendations led us to get the mushroom soup and spinach dip with lump crab to start our meal, and both were fantastic. My wife and I both agreed we would come back just for the soup. We heard the specials and we immediately sold on the creole redfish & the Rohan duck specials for that night. The duck was cooked perfectly, and the fish had a ton of flavor as well. Added to our short list for special event dinners!
